National Hospital Pet Therapy
Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC contracted us to build a mobile doghouse for their in-house Pet Therapy program.
Among the many technical challenges: soft-close hinges, Battery- powered cooling fans, secure locks and brakes and easily-replaceable parts; were some aesthetic and practical considerations: A removable, hinged entry door -which would allow airflow- was needed.
The door not only needed a secure latch to keep the occupants from wandering, It should also suggest who the occupants were.
